| magdeburg 09. Jun 2006 | Hi, I just had a look on this crackme and tried to solve it... However, I did not have a clue where to start and since I'm rather new to assembler and crackmes I read myllan's solution. The important tip is that you have to set a breakpoint at 004029CC and follow the CALL. You already see in EDX the right serials and it's quite easy... But I still don't know how you shall find this line in the code ... Are there any signs or something like that which point to 004029CC so that you start looking there ??? Or is it the result of patience and/or luck to find this call ?? thanks for any replies that might enlighten the problem a bit regards, magdeburg |
